The Maidenhead Festival Headliners

Kidwells Park is set to rock to the music of Britpop legends, iconic female vocalists and the greatest songs from the West End following the announcement of the headline acts for this summer’s Maidenhead Festival.

The Maidenhead Festival is held in Kidwells Park every year, and this year it falls on the weekend of July 20th – 21st 2024. It is the largest event in the town’s calendar and the free concerts on the Saturday and Sunday evenings are its biggest highlights, attracting thousands of people. This year’s shows once again feature a line-up of professional acts aimed at pleasing the widest possible audience.

The headlining Acts

Saturday night sees top Dua Lipa and Britpop tribute acts, while the Sunday concert opens with a Beyonce tribute, followed by the return of vocal harmony act A Million Dreams. The trio, who thrilled festival-goers last year performing iconic songs from the movies, are bringing their new show: Musical Magic.

Kicking off on Saturday night will be Dua Beyond, a tribute to the female musical icon featuring the superb vocals of Charlie Ditcham and her backing dancers in a spectacular show performing all Dua Lipa’s biggest hits including New Rules, Hotter Than Hell, One Kiss and Physical.

Topping the Saturday night bill will be the Britpop Boys, described as the definitive tribute to all that is Britpop. The energetic five-piece will pay homage to the era of Cool Britannia playing anthem after anthem by the icons of the age from Oasis and Pulp to Ocean Colour Scene and the Manic Street Preachers.

The concert will be followed by the Festival’s traditional spectacular fireworks display.

Sunday night begins with Beyonce Fierce, one of the UK’s top Beyonce tribute acts starring Leanne Harper and her dancers in a show full of full of slick choreography, phenomenal costume changes and outstanding vocals.

She will be followed by A Million Dreams performing Music from the West End, a set packed with hit songs from all the greatest musicals from Blues Brothers to Les Miserables. The trio of Toby Hinson, Kerri Leigh and Rebecca White, have all performed in the West End, touring shows, and film and TV.

Festival chairman Lisa Hunter said: “As always with our evening headliners we’ve tried to cater for the broadest range of musical tastes with some truly fantastic professional acts offering huge crowd appeal. We’re thrilled to welcome back the amazing A Million Dreams, who went down a storm last year. Their new show is bound to be another huge hit.”

“Each year we try to vary the headliners so everyone will know lots of the music and we’re expecting plenty of singing and dancing from the audience.”

Organised entirely by volunteers, the festival offers a full programme of family-focussed fun and entertainment. All the festival favourites will be back including a huge array of stalls and sideshows, fairground rides and wide range of street food. And as always festival admission, the on-stage entertainment, children’s beach and the spectacular fireworks display will all be free of charge.
