Cookham Regatta
The Cookham Regatta takes place at the Cookham Moor and river on Saturday 2nd September between 9:30am – 5pm.
There will be boat races and family fun, such as rides, children’s games, dog show, classic cars, market stalls, refreshments and music. Entry charge £6 adults, £2 children or £12 family.
Norden Farm Kite Festival
The Norden Farm Kite Festival takes place on Punt Hill, Boyn Grove Park, SL6 6JD on Sunday 3rd September between 12pm – 4pm.
This annual event is free for everyone to come along with their kites and enjoy the day. These can be hand made or shop bought. There will be music and performances as well as food and refreshments from local vendors.
Barbie (12A)
Barbie (12A) will be showing at Norden Farm on Tuesday 5th September at 2:30pm.
Eccentric and individualistic, Barbie is exiled from Barbieland because of her imperfections. When her homeland is in peril, she returns with the knowledge that what makes her different, also makes her stronger.
Back to Choir..With Tuneless
Weekly ‘singing like no-one is listening’ will be at the United Reform Church, West Street from Wednesday 6th September, 8pm – 9:15pm.
Zero musical talent required to join the choir. Just an appetite to have fun and feel good. The popular themed ‘Musicals’ is on Wednesday 27th September.
Cox Green Horticultural & Craft Show
The Cox Green Horticultural and Craft show is at the Cox Green Community Centre, Highfield Lane, SL6 3AX on Saturday 9th September from 2:30pm.
There will be prizes and also a wine raffle, a market stall with home grown produce and cakes, and attractions.

Repair Cafe Maidenhead
The monthly Repair Cafe will be at the Eco Action Hub, in the Nicholson Centre on Saturday 9th September, 10am – 3pm.
It is free to book, but this must be done two days in advance. Repair Coaches will then help you to mend your broken items and give them new life, instead of heading to landfill.
Items such as IT equipment, small electricals, bags, books, woodwork and textiles can be brought in. Book your slot via the eventbrite link.
Thames Hospice Sunflower Walk
The Thames Hospice Sunflower Walk takes place around the Thames Hospice, Windsor Road on Sunday 10th September. Registration 10:30am – 11am.
Overlooking Bray Lake, the 2.5K walk will be around the lake, with refreshments and a chance to purchase a limited edition metal sunflower in memory of someone.
As well as the 2.5K walk, there will also be a 10K around Bray and Dorney Lake (registration 9:30am – 10am) and a half marathon to Windsor and back (registration 8:30am – 9am).
Cookham Dean Gravity Grand Prix
This years Gravity Grand Prix will take place in the village of Cookham Dean on Sunday 10th September at 1pm. Crowds will arrive from midday.
Downhill races (using just gravity) in homemade karts (advice and rules are available on their website) is a fun way to raise money for charity.
There will be a fairground and refreshments. Find details on parking and the route map on the website.
Maidenhead Farmers’ Market
The monthly Farmers’ Market will be at Grove Road Car Park, SL6 1SQ on Sunday 10th September between 9:30am – 1pm.
Here you can purchase from local farmers and growers. There will be quality meat, fish, fruit and veg, honey, preserves, bakery and more.
Family Funday
A Family Funday organised by Angela’s Appeals will be at the NMCC Sports Bar, SL6 6SP on Sunday 10th September between 1pm – 5pm.
There will be stalls with games, raffles, refreshments, crafts and there will be family fun and entertainment.
Face2Face Maidenhead Business Networking
Come along to our next Face2Face networking events at The Lord Grenfell, Oldfield Road on Tuesday 12th September, 10am – 12pm.
This ticketed event is for anyone with a business, side hustle, start up or those in corporate. Included in your ticket, there will be a free drink of your choice (tea/coffee/something cold), a chance to introduce yourselves, a mini workshop from guest speaker, coach Nikita (Discover your Dharmer) and an opportunity to mix and mingle with the group. Tickets are £12.

Country Car Boot and Local Market at Stubbings Nursery on Sunday 17th September, 9am – 1pm.
Local sellers with arts and crafts, food, jewellery and more.
Cookham Dean Summer Fair
Cookham Dean Summer Fair at Cookham Dean old Cricket Common will be on Saturday 16th September, 1pm – 5pm.
Market stalls, entertainment, dog shows from 2pm, art display, food and drink and much more.
Imagine a Brighter Future Workshop
Fun and interactive free family workshop at the Eco Action Hub in the Nicholson centre will be on Saturday 23rd September, 10:30am – 12pm.
There will be various discussions, brainstorming, collage art and activities to come together as a community and envisage a better tomorrow. Get your free ticket.
Business Netwalking
Free business netwalking, from the Thicket carpark (off the Henley Road) and walking to Stubbings, on Tuesday 26th September, from 9:30am.
We at Face2Face Maidenhead have collaborated with Busy B Solutions to host our monthly free netwalking, meeting at the start of the Thicket butterfly trail. This informal meetup is all about getting away from our desks and connecting with other small business owners.
The walk takes around fifteen to twenty minutes, where we head to Stubbings cafe for a coffee and cake – and continue the conversation.
Women in Sport and Business Conference
Join Element Six and England Touch for a one day networking conference for women in business and sport at the Maidenhead Rugby Club, Braywick Park on Friday 29th September, 9am – 4:30pm.
Tickets are £30 and include activities, speakers, panel sessions about leadership, teamwork, resilience and mindset. Plus lunch and refreshments.
