Norden Farm Outdoor Market Spring Dates

Outdoor Market at Norden Farm

The outdoor market at Norden Farm is on the first Saturday of every month and the next market will be on Saturday 2nd March from 12pm – 4pm, Norden Farm, Altwood Road It’s free entry, and stalls are in the carpark and the Linhay Barns.

Expect to find local stallholders selling artisanal produce and arts and crafts. The cafe bar will also be open (lunch is served until 3pm).

Maidenhead’s Big Read

Maidenhead’s Big Read is back on Saturday 2nd March and Sunday 3rd March in the Maidenhead Library and on the High Street.

The theme this year is ‘Step Back in Time’, and there will be free events running throughout the weekend. There will be story telling from well known authors, illustrators and poets, activities in the library and story telling on the Once Upon a Bus, to coincide with World Book Day on 7th March.

Maidenhead Seed Swap

The Maidenhead Seed Swap will be at the Eco Action Hub in the Nicholson Centre on Saturday 2nd March between 11am – 2pm.

Drop in with your seeds to swap or donate to start your growing journey. There will also be a seed talk and paper pot making.

Maidenhead’s Got Talent

Go along to see young people of Maidenhead show off their singing, dancing and acting at Taplow Court on Friday 8th March at 7pm.

This is the tenth year (after having a break) at the concert hall.

Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 under 16’s and under 5’s free. Tickets are to be purchased online.

Repair Cafe Maidenhead

The Repair Cafe will be at The Eco Action Hub in the Nicholson Centre on Saturday 9th March, 10am – 3pm.

The Repair Cafe is run by Repair Coaches who are volunteers and help visitors to fix their broken and beloved items.

This free monthly event creates the habit of repairing and reusing things, as well as learning new skills and meeting new people.

Some of the repair skills include small electrical items, laptops, mobile phones, small furniture items, book binding, textile repairs and much more. Book your slot by 1pm on the Thursday prior to the event.

Random and Rocks Superhero Party

Random and Rocks Superhero Party

Join Random Adam and Jonny Rocks for the ultimate interactive superhero party at the Braywick Leisure Centre, Saturday 9th March, between 5:30pm – 7pm.

This fun stage show with a superhero theme will include games, challenges, dancing, a photo opportunity with Random and Rocks after the show and so much more for all the family. Tickets are £9 per person.

Maidenhead Farmers’ Market

The Maidenhead monthly Farmers’ Market returns on Sunday 10th March between 9:30am – 1pm, at Grove Road carpark.

There will be fresh local produce, such as meat, fish, dairy, bakery, jams and honey and much more.

Health and Wellbeing Fayre for Older Men

There will be a health and wellbeing fayre at the Maidenhead Library on St Ives Road on Wednesday 13th March, 1:30pm – 4:30pm.

Free admission, run by the charity Men’s Matters who focus on improving the social wellbeing for older, retired men.

There will be over twenty exhibitors for men and all those who support them.

Face2Face Maidenhead Business Networking

The March Face2Face Maidenhead Business Networking will be at El Cerdo Spanish Tapas Bar, Waterside Quarter Maidenhead on Thursday 21st March between 10am – 12pm.

There will be complimentary drinks, relaxed introductions, time to mix and mingle with the group, and a talk about facing your fears with facilitator Philip Cox-Hynd!

Tickets are £12, open for anyone in business, corporate or start-up.

Maidenhead Cycle Hub Family Ride

There will be an organised family bike ride around Bray Lake on Saturday 23rd March, 10am – 11:30am.

There are cycle paths, led by experienced volunteers. The route is around 8 miles, starting from the car park at Bray Lane (SL6 2EB).

Maidenhead Easter 10

The annual Maidenhead Easter 10 will be on Good Friday 29th March at 9:30am from the Maidenhead Office Park, SL6 3QH.

The 10 mile route is a fully marshalled flat running course, organised by the Maidenhead Athletic Club.

There will also be a children’s Easter Mile race for school years 5 – 8 (starting at 8:45am) and an Easter Half Mile race for children in school years reception – year 4 (starting at 8:30am).

There will be a Local Producers’ Market at Stubbings Nursery on Good Friday 29th March between 10am – 3pm.

Browse stalls with products ranging from cheese, crafts, gin, cookies, honey, tea and more.

Explore Day at Norden Farm

The Explore taster workshops return to Norden Farm on Good Friday 29th March from 9:30am.

There is a wide range of one hour workshops to pick and choose from for different age ranges. Children can do as many as they like (pre-booking essential, and some sell out quickly).

They include circus skills, street dance, chocolate lollipop decorating, magician’s apprentice and more.

Easter Family Fun Day

The Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club present their annual Easter Family Funday at Grenfell Park on Saturday 30th March between 11am – 3pm.

There will be family friendly stalls, games, refreshments, treasure hunt, entertainment, rides and more. Free entry.

The Great Easter Egg Hunt

The Maidenhead Round Table will host their annual Great Easter Egg Hunt at The Sports Bar, Summerleaze on Sunday 31st March, 11:30am – 3:30pm.

There will be food, stalls, rides, face painting from Sass and Sparkle and more! Plus a fully licensed bar.

The Easter Egg hunt starts at 11:30am and finishes at 3:30pm – or when the eggs run out! There will be dairy free, lactose free and gluten free treats available too.
