Anna has a background working in the media and the broadcasting industry, and studied Journalism at degree level. With a love of writing, she also offers copywriting services for email newsletters, Social Media profiles and bios, websites and blogs. About Anna
How long have you been a social media manager?
I’ve been a Social Media manager for just over two years now after working in broadcasting for 20 years. I worked in the archive, researching and retrieving information, I have always thrived on helping people and working alongside others. I set up the Channel’s web archive where my interest in Social Media began. I upskilled and became qualified in Digital Marketing and Social Media and have since worked for numerous clients helping manage their Social Media, creating Social Media content and writing regular blogs for my client’s website.
You are also a photographer and copywriter. Have you always been creative?
Yes, I have a creative flair and always enjoyed photography. With mobiles having such good camera technology, you always have a camera with you so taking photos is easy! However, I still like to get out my SLR and get behind the viewfinder. As well as food, I like to take photographs of nature, family and documenting the everyday world.
Which social media platforms do you help your clients with?
The Social platforms I help with are Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Linked In. As well as offering Social Media Management, I also offer bespoke one to one Power Hours where I can help with any Social Media queries or concerns. A Social Media audit provides tips and techniques on how to elevate your Social Media platforms or I can help form a Social Media Strategy (as part of the audit or separate service) where we work together and create and plan the way forward for the clients Social Media platforms in order to reach new customers and keep an engaged community.
