The Super Mario brothers Movie (PG)
The Super Mario Brothers movie will be showing at Norden Farm on Wednesday 31st May at 11am and on Thursday 1st June at 2pm.
Luigi gets lost when entering a mysterious new world. Follow Mario as he goes on an adventure to find him.
Maidenhead Festival Fringe Events
The Maidenhead Festival will be hosting a number of events in the run up to the Maidenhead Festival in July. These fringe events started in May and continue until the weekend festival on 22nd and 23rd July in Kidwells Park. With eight events throughout June.
These include Off The Tap Open Mic on Thursday 8th and Thursday 22nd at 7pm, Music on the Move on Sunday 11th 3pm – 6pm, A Hoppy Place Lego & Libations Tuesday 20th 7pm – 9pm, Mr Hoppy’s Maido Pub Quiz Wednesday 21st 7pm – 9pm, Battle of the Bands at Potion & Motion Friday 23rd and Friday 30th 7pm – 9pm and A Hoppy Place Open Mic Tuesday 27th 7pm – 9pm.
Birds of Prey at Dorney Court
Visit the birds from Berkshire Birds of Prey at Crocus at Dorney Court on Thursday 1st June, between 10am – 4pm.
It will be an outside event in the walled garden. Free to attend but £2 (cash only) to handle a bird.
Bring Baby Choir
Bring Baby Choir is every Friday at Norden Farm (June dates: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd) at 12:30pm.
No singing experience needed. It’s a great way to meet new people and take your baby or toddler (under 18 months).
Norden Farm Outdoor Market
Head down to the Norden Farm Outdoor Market on Altwood Road, on Saturday 3rd June from 12pm – 4pm.
It’s free entry and you can browse the stalls and support local businesses. There are arts and crafts, cookies and cakes and specialist drink.
Face2Face Maidenhead Business Networking
Join us for a fun and relaxed networking event at Chai Cocoa on Queen Street on Tuesday 6th June between 9:30am – 11:30am.
Special guest speaker, Nelly, founder of refill shop Filling Good will host a fun eco quiz, with prizes!
There will be a chance for introductions (bring along your business cards and flyers), a free drink of your choice from the cafe and time to mingle with the group.

Tuneless Choir Bring a Friend for Free
Whether you sing like a lark or squawk like a sparrow, Tuneless Choir Maidenhead welcome you to ‘BAFFF’ in June. ‘Bring a Friend For Free’ to any of their sessions on Wednesday 7th, Wednesday 14th or Wednesday 28th June, at the United Reformed Church between 9pm – 9:15pm.
The choir’s ‘sing like no one is listening’ mean zero talent required – all you need to do is turn up, open your mouth and let some noise out!

Twyford Beer Festival
The Twyford Beer Festival will be at Stanlake Meadow, Twyford on Thursday 8th June 6pm – 11pm, Friday 9th June 12pm – 11pm and Saturday 10th June 12pm – 10pm.
There will be beer, wine, Pimms, cider, fizz and more – plus food and live music. All money raised goes toward the male cancer charity Orchid.
Repair Cafe
The monthly Repair Cafe will return to the Eco Action Hub inside the Nicholson Centre on Saturday 10th June between 10am – 3pm.
Admission is free, but if you have an item that need repairing, you must book in advance. The experienced team of repair coaches will teach you how to fix your broken belongings and love them again. It can be anything from a small electrical items to basic woodwork.

Plasticblitz and Waterblitz
Help to clear litter along the cut from Braywick and the waterways as part of the Thames21 and local community groups, from the Braywick Nature Centre, Hibbert Road on Saturday 10th June, 10am 12pm.
Guidance will be given and ensure you dress for the weather.
TVAP Quiz Night
The Thames Valley Adventure Playground quiz night will be held at at the TVAP, Taplow, SL6 0PR on Saturday 10th June, 7:30am – 10:30pm.
Tables of six are available and there is a prize for the best decorated table!
Maidenhead Farmer’s Market
The monthly Maidenhead Farmers’ Market will be back at Grove Road Car Park, SL6 1SQ on Sunday 11th June, 9:30am – 1pm.
Support your local Farmers and businesses with fresh produce – meat, poultry, honey, pies, fruit and veg. This month there is a special June Jubilee offer. Pick up an ‘egg’ at the info stall to qualify for £3 off any product from any stall.
Country Car Boot and Local Producer’s Market
There will be a car boot and local producer’s market at Stubbings Nursery, Henley Road on Sunday 11th June, 10am – 2:30pm.
There will be arts and crafts, pre-loved, jewellery, artisan market and food and drink.
Entry from 11am is free, early bird entry (before 11am) is £2.
Maidenhead Lions Duck Derby at Ray Mill Island
The Maidenhead Lions Duck Derby and fun day will take place on Ray Mill Island, Boulters Lock on Sunday 18th June between 1pm – 5pm.
Admission is free and there will be plenty of stalls with gifts, treats and games. There will also be children’s entertainment and train rides.
The duck race will start at 4:30pm – 1st place wins £250!
Tay Tay Bottomless Brunch
Taylor Swift themed bottomless brunch will be at the Lord Grenfell, Oldfield Road on Saturday 24th June between 11am – 2pm.
Bottomless brunch and Taylor Swift entertainment – with live music and games. Over 18’s only. Tickets must be pre-booked.
Rotary Club of Maidenhead Open Gardens
The Maidenhead Rotary Club Open Gardens event takes place in the community on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June.
You will be able to visit various gardens in the area, including cottage gardens, Mediterranean gardens, courtyard gardens, riverside gardens and more. Proceeds will support charities such as Foodshare and Alzheimer’s Dementia Support.
Some of the gardens will offer refreshments, and you will meet gardening experts and keen gardeners. Last year, hundreds of people discovered some of Maidenhead’s secret gardens raising money for charity.
Order your badges online (link below) and your map will be emailed to you. And you can also enter your garden if you’d like to join in.
Family Funday at Ockwells Park
There will be a family funday at Ockwells Park on Sunday 25th June between 1pm – 5pm.
Organised by Angela’s Appeals, there will be stalls, games, refreshments and more.
Race Night
The Maidenhead Round Table will be hosting at charity Race Night at The Maiden’s Head on Thursday 29th June, from 7:30pm.
The first race will start at 8pm, with a slection of jumps, flats and bingo – and a couple of special races.
