Pumpking Picking at Copas Farm
Pick your own pumpkins at The Fruit Fields, Copas Farm. Pumpkins are available to go and pick (and have photo opportunities) at Copas Farm, Cookham, SL6 9RF from Saturday 7th october. Tickets are on sale now.
There is an online booking system and vouchers for access to the pumpkin field costs £4 per person, plus a 25p admin fee.
Monster Mash Party
There will be a monster-themed party for little monsters at Crocus at Dorney Court on Wednesday 25th October, for 30 minute slots between 10:30am – 3pm.
Suitable for children aged 3 – 8 years. Parents or carers much stay with their child. Pre-book your slot.
Random & Rocks Halloween Party
Duo Random & Rocks will be hosting a lively family Halloween party on Friday 20th October between 5pm – 7pm (doors open at 5pm) at the Braywick Leisure Centre.
The interactive show will be in the Baylis Theatre and there will be music, games, competitions, dancing and may get messy with silly string and slime!
Great for families with children 8 years and under. Tickets are £9 per person. Children 3 years and under go free.
Halloween Funday
There will be a Halloween themed funday at Oaken Grove Park on Sunday 29th October, 1pm – 5pm. ***Cancelled due to wet weather conditions***
There will be stalls, games, free pumpkin decorating (message Angela to book a slot). Fancy dress encouraged.
Walk with Ghosts at Stubbings
There will be a walk with ghosts event with dinner from Thursday 26th October – Saturday 28th October at Stubbings, SL6 6QL.
There are three different sessions to choose from. 1st scare – dinner at 6pm with the walk at 6:45pm. 2nd scare – dinner at 6:45pm with the walk at 7:30pm. 3rd scare (this one is suitable for ages 15 and over) – dinner at 7:30pm with the walk at 8:15pm.
There are adult and children’s menus then a 25 minute walk around the grounds of the old Manor House. Fancy dress is encouraged for children and adults. Book online.
Halloween Family Disco
Halloween Family Disco at the Thames Valley Adventure Playground, Bath Road, Taplow, SL6 OPR on Saturday 28th October, at 6pm.
£5 per person, bring your own drinks and snacks. There will be a DJ and mocktails. Fancy dress optional.

Mini Golf Halloween Takeover
Play if you dare! After dark mini golf at the Maidenhead Mini Golf, Braywick Park, SL6 1BN between Saturday 21st October – Tuesday 31st October.
Play the 18 hole dinosaur themed course with spooky decorations. Then why not head inside afterwards for Halloween themed desserts from the Maidenhead Dessert House!
Halloween Kids Party
There will be a Halloween kids party at Masters, Maidenhead, on St Ives Road (off York Road) on Saturday 28th October between 3pm – 5pm.
Free spooky face painting and free gaming on the Nintendo Switch consoles.
Off The Tap Halloween Music Festival
Halloween themed music festival will be at Off The Tap on the High Street on Sunday 29th October, 1pm – 8pm.
There will be a mix of musicians performing a mix of covers and originals. Prize for the best Halloween costume. Then head to Potion and Motion for the after party until 2am!
Wild Witches Half Term Trail
The Wild Witches Half Term Trail will be at Woolley Firs, Cherry Garden Lane, SL6 3LJ from Monday 23rd October – Wednesday 25th October, 10am – 1pm.
There is a spooky Halloween trail through the nature reserve. Learn about wildlife and help the witch brew her magic potion to turn herself into a fantastic creature. There will be a craft making area. Children must be supervised by an adult.
Pre-booking essential. Suitable for ages 4 – 11.
Halloween Breakfast and Pumpkin Carving Competition
There will be a kids Halloween Breakfast at The Pond House, Bath Road on Sunday 29th October, 10am – 12pm and a Halloween Pumpkin Carving Competition on Tuesday 31st October, all day until 10pm.
Kids Halloween breakfast includes breakfast quiz games, a breakfast for £5 per child and a prize for the best children’s fancy dress and winners of all games.
Then take your carved pumpkin in on 31st October and enter it into the competition for £2 per entry. The best pumpkin wins a prize. All entry fees are donated to MacMillan.
Haunted House Colouring Competition
Free spooky half term fun in the Nicholsons Shopping Centre, Tuesday 24th October, at 10:30am – 12:30pm.
The little ones can take part in a spooky colouring in session, and they’ll be in with a chance to take the haunted house home to keep!
Children must be accompanied at all times.
Free Pumpkin Carving!
Free pumpkin carving in the Nicholsons Shopping Centre on Thursday 26th October, 10am – 3pm.
Pumpkins kindly donated by Richard at Maidenhead Fruits. Be prepared to get messy – and when they’re gone, they’re gone!
Halloween Costume Party
There will be a Halloween costume party at The Maiden’s Head pub on Friday 27th october, 8pm – late.
DJ Slater will be on the decks and there will be costume contest prizes. Free entry.
Halloween Ceilidh
There will be a lively Ceilidh at Norden Farm, Altwood Road on Saturday 28th October from 7:30pm.
Dance the night away in the long barn, with live music and barn dance band Cut a Shine. The caller will give you instructions for each dance – no experience necessary. Dress in your most frightful attire. Pre-book your tickets.
Halloween Funday and PYO Pumpkins
Pick your own pumpkins, pumpkin carving, design a witches hat, Halloween scavenger hunt and visit the goats and alpacas on Harefield Farm, Ascot Road, Touchen End on Sunday 29th October with one hour slots from 10am – 2:30pm.
£10 per child for an hour slot. Book your place.
Spooky Sing-a-long with Tuneless Choir
Join the Tuneless Choir on Wednesday 1st November from 8-9.15pm (doors open at 7.45pm) at the United Reformed Church, West Street, Maidenhead, SL6 4AY
This one is for adults who like to dress up and get in the Halloween spirit singing all the Halloween classics like Monster Mash, Thriller and Ghostbusters. Groaners, howlers and ghoulish singing noises all welcome!
Special spooky £7 deal – no need to join as a member if want one-off freaky ferocious fun. Trip to the pub afterwards to scare the residents of Maidenhead!
The Night Forest at the Braywick Nature Centre
Campfire storytelling, pumpkin carving and pumpkin parade on Wednesday 25th October – Saturday 28th October, 5:30pm – 7pm at The Braywick Nature Centre, Hibbert Road.
Take your pumpkin to carve, along with carving tools and a light to illuminate it, and a torch for an after dark family experience. Best for ages 4-11 years. Children must be with an adult, but adults do not need a ticket.
Wildness and Wonder Forest Halloween Club
Led by the Wildness and Wonder team for ages 6 years and over at the Braywick Nature Centre, Hibbert Road on Monday 24th October and Tuesday 25th October, 9am – 3pm.
There will be child-led activities in the woodland, team building, camp fire cooking and more.
Other Halloween Activities
Always a favourite and just outside of Maidenhead is the Binfield Scarecrow Trail, organised by the residents of Binfield. It will run from Saturday 23rd October – Sunday 31st October. Purchase your trail map for £3 from The Foxes Den, Crema Cafe or the village stores and enjoy going on a scarecrow hunt!
Odds Farm have their annual Pumpkin Festival between Saturday 21st October – Sunday 29th October. Pick your own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, carve it at the carving corner and there are plenty of Halloween crafts too.
Brick or Treat returns to Legoland. It runs from Thursday 28th September – Sunday 5th November. As well as the fun of Legoland, there will be a new Halloween Harbour show, a new 4D monster movie, find the creepy crypts for halloween treats and meet new characters.
Marlow Bottom also have their Scarecrow Festival again this year, running from Sunday 22nd October – Sunday 29th October. Trail maps cost £2 and can be purchased from Tin Town Coffee, The Barn Club and Da Luca.
