Easter Egg Hunts and Activities in the Maidenhead Area

Easter Egg Hunt Cliveden
There will be an Easter Egg hunt at Cliveden National Trust, running from Friday 31st March – Sunday 16th April, 10:30am – 3:30pm. There will be an activity sheet with a trail map, with ten activities to find around the estate. Then once you have finished, collect your chocolate egg or allergen alternative.
The Cookham Village Easter Concert
The Cookham Kids Singing Group in partnership with ‘Music For Change’ present an evening for the whole family on Saturday 1st April, 5:30pm – 8:30pm, Pinder Hall, Cookham, SL6 9HF. All profits will be going to the Maidenhead Foodshare. Tickets available online. There will be local singers and musicians, an equipped bar, raffle and a visit from the Easter Bunny. There will be the Cowderys BBQ so prebook your sausages and burgers from the Singing Dads.

Totally Locally Easter Trail
Cookham Dean PTA and Cookham Rise Primary PTA have teamed up to present a Walking Easter Trail with the main event in Cookham Village on Saturday 1st April from 10am – 4pm, and will remain live until Sunday 16th April. The trail celebrates our fantastic local businesses, with lots of treats and surprises along the way. When you complete, you are entered into a prize draw.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Book your breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th or Thursday 6th April at 8am, at Stubbings Nursery, SL6 6QL. Families can enjoy a full English breakfast or a child mini breakfast, with a hot drink included for the adults and juice for the children. There will be balloon modelling entertainment and a visit and chocolate surprise from the Easter Bunny.

Bunny Fun Free Easter Crafts
There will be free Easter arts and crafts in the Nicholson Centre in Maidenhead on Tuesday 4th April 2pm – 4pm and also on Thursday 6th April at 10:30am – 12:30am, which is organised by the Craft Coop. Just turn up!
Quest Explore Day
There is a selection of one hour taster workshops for children of all ages and their families as part of the Quest Family Fest that runs over Easter at Norden Farm on Friday 7th April from 9:30am. The workshops will be running throughout the day for different age groups, such as mini chocolate egg and lollipop decorating, circus skills, print making and many more. Sessions are selling out fast.
Good Friday Family Funday
There will be a family funday organised by Angela’s Appeals on Friday 7th April at 1pm – 5pm at Oaken Grove Park, Maidenhead. There will be stalls selling crafts, refreshments, games and an Easter hunt with a cookie for each child. There will also be an Easter bonnet competition.
Maidenhead Easter Ten (and children’s races)
The Maidenhead Athletic Club will be hosting their 68th Easter Ten, which is a fast flat course, fully marshalled and on a mix of closed roads and pavements. The event will be held on Good Friday 7th April at 9:30am from Maidenhead Office Park, SL6 3QH).
There is also an Easter Mile race for children in school years 5 – 8. And an Easter Half Mile race for children in years reception – year 4, starting at 8:30am on fully closed roads.
Maidenhead Athletic Club Easter Ten
Easter Family Funday Grenfell Park
Organised by the Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club, the Easter Family Funday will be on Saturday 8th April at 11am – 3pm at Grenfell Park. There will be stalls, games, refreshments, fairground rides, the Easter Egg Treasure Hunt and much more. Free to attend.
Cookham Village Easter Trail
There will be a fun family day out with an Easter Trail on Saturday 8th April, 11am – 3pm the Cookham Moor, SL6 9SB. Organised by Holy Trinity School PTA and Cookham Rotary. £10 per family (£5 for one adult and one child). No booking required, just turn up. Solve the clues and win a prize.
The Great Easter Egg Hunt!
The Maidenhead Round Table will be organising another Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday 9th April at 11:30am – 3:30pm at NMCC Sports Bar, Summerleaze Park. There will be a brand new layout, making it bigger and better than last year! There will be the Traylens Funfair, food, drink, face painting and more.
Some Easter activities happening in the surrounding area: The Binfield Easter Egg Hunt. Similar to their Scarecrow trail, purchase a trail map from the Foxes Den cafe, Binfield stores or Crema Cafe and go on your adventures. Running from Sunday 2nd April – Monday 10th April.
Easter Fair at The Pirate Park in Dedworth is on Sunday 2nd April, 12pm – 4pm. Easter egg hunt, Easter bonnets, stalls, children’s farm, games and more.
Easter Trail at Hughenden Manor National Trust High Wycombe. No booking. Follow the trail, complete the activities learning about the lifecycle of a plant and collect your chocolate egg at the end. Running between Saturday 1st April – Sunday 16th April, 10am – 4pm.
Easter Egg Hunt at Burnham Park Hall on Sunday 9th April, 2pm – 4pm. Games, face painting, prizes, Easter hunt, colouring in competition and more. £5 per child. Tickets can be purchased online or at the reception desk.
Spring into Easter at Odds Farm, Wooburn Common from Saturday 1st April – Sunday 16th April, with an Easter egg hunt, spring arts and crafts and silly shows with Farmer Oddsocks and friends. Also meet the fluffy lambs, cheeky goats and piglets.
