Children’s Pop-Up Event in Maidenhead
Two sustainable Maidenhead Businesses join forces..
Two sustainable Berkshire businesses, run by local mums, are teaming up from this November in an exciting series of events.
Maidenhead-based sustainable children’s clothing business, My Little Green Wardrobe, is joining forces with new Maidenhead eco-conscious play cafe, Chai Cocoa, in a new partnership that celebrates eco-friendly approaches to childhood and play.
The businesses will stage a series of collaborations including a number of pop-up events from mid-November, where shoppers will be able to browse a range of ethical and more sustainable baby and children’s clothing while enjoying a complimentary brownie at Chai Cocoa.
The partnership will get underway from the beginning of November with an exciting giveaway which will see the winner receive a bundle of prizes from both ethical businesses worth more than £50.
There will also be a Christmas pop-up event in December for those wishing to purchase eco-friendly baby and kids’ gifts along with supporting local businesses.
My Little Green Wardrobe is an online store selling sustainable and organic baby and kids’ clothing, and is run by local mother of two, Lucy Todd. It launched in 2021 with the aim of making it easy for parents to shop more sustainably for their kids.
Play cafe Chai Cocoa was launched earlier this year by Maidenhead mum, Pavan Badesha, when she wanted to offer an eco-friendly alternative to out of town soft play centres.
Lucy, 40 and owner of My Little Green Wardrobe said: “It’s brilliant to see sustainable businesses flourishing in Maidenhead, and I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Chai Cocoa.”
“This will be a fantastic opportunity for shoppers to purchase some eco-friendly Christmas gifts for little ones ahead of the festive season – and a great way to show support for local businesses.”
The first pop-up event will take place on Thursday 10th November 2022 between 10am – 2pm at Chai Cocoa, Queen Street, Maidenhead.
